I had Fran cut my hair and I have to say it's one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Superb attention to detail, and he talked through his thoughts on my hair really concisely, putting me totally at ease. I usually hate going to the hairdressers but I enjoyed the experience – the darkly lit room where you have your hair washed was very relaxing, and the salon and staff were really friendly. I'll definitely be going back!

This is a really cool place to get your hair cut. Friendly staff combined with stylists that really know what they're doing - it's quite a treat. By far the best haircut I have ever had. Will now be a loyal customer.

Windle & Moodie is a relaxing and friendly place to be. It was somewhere I felt comfortable, which I really don't get at a lot of hairdressers!
The most important things were that I found the staff all really friendly and was very happy with the cut I got. My stylist, Fran, was easy to talk to and listened to what I had to say, adding his own useful input.
Then there's plenty of other extras which come as a bonus. The hair washing room was more like something you'd find people relaxing in at a spa, and the comfy electric chairs meant no stiff neck afterwards either. Julio's head massage was heavenly and the coffee was great too.
All round a lovely experience and good value. I'll go back.

Had the most fantastic haircut with Fran at Windle & Moodie. He was great and made really good suggestions for my hair. The service was fab and the hairwash area is amazing - it's like being in a spa. Will definitely be going back for colour soon!

I have visited Windle twice now and will definitely be going back. They are competitively priced and it feels like a real luxury to be there, including a relaxing shampoo room with nature noises that make you want to fall asleep! I would highly recommend it.

Changing your hairdresser is on a par with changing you hair colour - scary stuff that can take a lot of thought and may leave palms slightly sweaty. I'm delighted to say though, my first and now repeated visits to Windle have all been amazing.
I was instantly put at ease and every consultation completely puts your mind at rest, helped along by the most relaxing, therapeutic shampoo room - heaven. Guiseppe is my all time fave. Every second that I was in the salon I felt like I was their number one priority. The level of attention and meticulous precision was honestly the best I've ever received.
I'd 100% recommend you book in for a visit or pop by whilst shopping in Covent Garden.

My experience at Windle and Moodie exceeded all my expectations.
On entering the salon, you are welcomed into a calm space. It seems to be an area for thought and creation, with two styling booths and awe-inspiring WAM design on display. The secret to this world of experience is that you feel pivotal to it. So much thought goes into every element of interaction, from the design of the WAM styling appliances to effortlessly fit the contours of your hand, to the enchanting moving images revealing methods, style and creation.
Black dominates the interior, punctuated by the colourful character and intelligence of the team. The sleek design can be seen as minimal, in that Windle and Moodie is a matter of experience. Giving constant attention, nothing more, but nothing less than that.

My friend recommended I go to see Simon at Windle as I've been wanting to change my hair for months but have been very nervous about going through with it as I've had bad experiences in the past.
Simon put me at ease straight away and we discussed what I wanted and he showed me styles that would suit my hair and face shape. He did such a great job with my hair, I'm so happy with my new look, and I'm so glad to have found a hairdresser in London that I love, that takes the time to find out what I'm looking for and what will suit me. I've sent my boyfriend to him since to get his hair done too! I highly recommend Simon if you plan on visiting Windle.

Having only just moved to London, the prospect of finding a new hairdresser was something I didn't relish, having had so many hair disasters in the past. So when one of my work colleagues told me about Windle, I thought I would try it.
I was booked in with one of their colourists called Jamie, and Simon was going to be cutting my hair after the colour. I can't tell you how happy I am with my hair. So many people in the past have messed with it and left me so unhappy. Great time and detail went in to the consultation to ensure that I understood what they wanted to do, explaining what would work for my hair and what wouldn't. Jamie used magazines to show me colours rather than colour charts, as he said seeing colour against skin is much more realistic since colour charts look so unnatural (which, thinking about it, makes so much sense).
I can't tell you how happy I am that I was told about Windle.

I really like the salon, it's high quality and very friendly. I get my hair cut by Tara and she is very good, very attentive and listens to clients. My hair is long, with no layers and a heavy fringe (which requires regular trimmings that you can get for free in between cuts). Tara also gives great tips on how to maintain my hair. I am going to try the colour as well with Takashi next time I go to the salon.

Because I was tempted by the special '50% off' offer on urbanpath, I phoned to book an appointment to have my hair cut at Windle. I was told on the phone that this offer only applies to two stylists: Tara and MJ. I booked with Tara, as MJ was on holiday. As I've never had my hair cut at Windle before, I was a bit nervous what it would turn out like; however, it turned out to be a very good experience.
Tara is definitely a stylist I would recommend if you are someone who likes attention to detail and focus when it comes to your hair. She listened to what I like and also made some good suggestions as to what would suit me. I like that she isn't like some stylists I've had before, rushing through the cut within 15-20 minutes. Instead, she cut and checked the hair carefully and thoughtfully, especially the time she spent on delivering a wonderful fringe that perfectly suits the angles of my face. I was very happy with my new look.
Apart from the wonderful cut, she also showed me how to use hair straighteners to create a wavy look if I want something different (I have straight hair). She even spent extra time finishing my hair with this wavy look. I came home with lovely, natural curls. Everyone loves the new look on me!
So thanks Tara. I am very happy to recommend her, if you are thinking of trying Windle.

Had a wonderful experience at Windle. My stylist was MJ. She delivered an excellent service: friendly, listened to what I wanted, good attention to detail (especially on my newly done and fabulous fringe!), a good balance of professional and fun.
The salon is trendy, the service provided by the reception was efficient and also professional, and - with the discount from Urbanpath - excellent value. Highly recommended. Will be going back for a fringe trim in a few weeks and for a repeat cut in about 8-10.

LOVE the Windle and Moodie salon! I have been a customer for a couple of years now and the salon revamp is super slick. Such a great new look - the type of salon that promises AND delivers a great cut and blow dry in a stylish environment with wonderfully helpful staff. I look forward to my next trip every time I leave!

I have never liked going to the hairdressers or the whole experience of getting my hair cut but I have to say that the atmosphere at Windle put me at ease right away. The staff are friendly and definitely know what they're talking about and not at all snooty like other places. Would recommend!

My experience at Windle was nothing short of incredible! I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. The service was flawless, from the moment I was greeted as soon as I stepped into the salon, through to paying.
The location was under renovation but I hardly noticed. My hairstylist, Colette, was truly amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted, but also told me exactly what was realistic with my hair type. She explained everything thoroughly and carefully - something that most hairdressers don't have the patience for. I got one of the best cuts in my life, and she even offered to tong my hair (that NEVER happens).
Needless to say I left a happy camper, and that is usually not the case when I leave from a haircut. Thank you to Colette and everyone at Windle. If I am in Europe I will happily fly into to London for a haircut here.

Windle is the best salon in London by a mile! I was greeted by a lovely and very helpful receptionist who looked after my every need. My stylist was very attentive and gave me a great cut, as well as some fantastic styling tips. And the shiatsu head massage is worth the visit alone!

It's refreshing to visit a salon that's welcoming, trendy, but where service is above everything their priority. I had a cut with the delightful Josh, a very talented and creative guy who has worked on shows for London Fashion Week. He knows trends, what's hot and - most importantly - what works for you. I'm returning to the salon this week for a colour treatment. I have been living in London over two years now and had yet to find a salon which had the talent for styling and also gave advice individually tailored to the customer. Prices not too shabby either... 100% a new loyal customer.

I just had my first colour (Ravi) and cut (Jean-Marc) at Windle and am so happy! I was impressed with the attentiveness and courtesy shown by all staff. The colour is great and the haircut fabulous. I will definitely be a return customer.

I have been going to Windle for many years and absolutely love it. I would never go anywhere else and would always recommend it to my friends. Stylists are competent and thorough. They have years of experience and inspiration from the creative work they do outside the salon. They always do a consultation, which ensures that I receive the cut and colour I envision. Also they are inspiring and I trust them to give me their recommendation. My hair always looks fabulous when I leave. Plus, I like the buzzing energy and camaraderie in the salon.
