Saco Hair Salon London

Totally professional on every level. When I discovered Leila last year, I finally felt I'd found the stylist for me. And I was devastated when she left 6 months later! I was, however, recommended another stylist, Alfie, and I really couldn't have been more pleased with the results. He's lovely - extremely professional, understanding and took on board everything I said. I have had so many compliments. Three cuts and two colours in and I certainly won't go anywhere else. Thank you Saco!

My sister recommended Saco to me a few years ago and I have been going to the salon ever since. I like its laid-back professionalism and always feel I am in good hands. My haircuts and highlights have been the best I've ever had. Even had people at bus stops ask me where I get my hair cut!

Saw this salon at Salon International and was impressed. On a visit to London had my hair cut by Tai Chi. Great cut, excellent friendly service, great value for money and a cool forward-thinking group.

Not overly impressed here. Went as my normal salon couldn't fit me in and I was desperate. Ran very late, bit of a bad service and didn't even offer me a drink! Definitely going to stick to my guns and stay with my old salon!

Go to Saco and have Saron cut, colour and style your hair.
She was absolutely brilliant and I am convinced the only stylist who has ever taken an interest in my hair concerns. She gave me the first haircut ever that I have been able to grow into with style. She is very in tune with her profession and has excellent instincts. You will not be disappointed - she is open and honest and, up until now, always right.

I have been going to Saco for a number of years and would not dream of going anywhere else. The staff are all friendly and welcoming as well as extremely competent. Lucy does my colour now and I am very pleased with it. She has great attention to detail and my hair has never looked better. Patrizia cuts it and I can only say: ditto; I love the style, it looks exactly the way I want it to and it lasts really well between cuts. I should also mention the great Japanese head massage!

What an amazing experience – finally I have a salon I’m happy to go back to! Highly recommend!!

I visited Saco at the beginning of September on a friend's recommendation. Inside is lovely and relaxing and all the staff are so friendly and easygoing.

Saron cut my hair – she’s very good, really easy to talk to and understood what I wanted from the style. I don’t go to get a cut as often as most but have to say that since my visit my hair still looks great.

Lucy did my highlights and she’s wonderful, great fun to chat to and very professional. She gave me some really good advice. The colour is wicked and so close to the roots that it doesn’t need doing as often. I’m never letting anyone else touch my colour but her!

I previously visited the Toni & Guy in Covent Garden and had a terrible experience – my colour the next day looked like it needed re-doing and had a funny orange tinge! I would never go back to any of their salons.

Thanks Saco girls! I'll definitely be back!!

I was recommended to Saco by a friend to Saron and Lucy, I came away very happy. The cut done by Saron was beautiful and feminine. I have curly, unruly hair and she took this in to consideration. Perfect!

Lucy who informed me was a new recruit, gave me a thorough consultation and decided on a vibrant copper. I felt they gave me their undivided attention and feel truly spoilt! Thank you.

It's great to have finally found a fantastic hairdressers in London. I've just had the most amazing cut and colour and cannot recomend Lucy and Brett highly enough. My hair now does what it's told to and I can even style it myself at home. I had half a head of highlights by Lucy and they were so close to my roots. The best compliment I can give is that I look like a natural blonde and not someone who has had their hair coloured. It looks like 'spun gold'! I can't thank you both enough.

At last I have found the salon I will without doubt return to! Never before has having my hair done (cut and full head highlights) left me with such a buzz and feeling almost ecstatic.

Leila's skills are simply fantastic. A competent consultation taking skin tone, face shape and plans for where I want to go with my hair into consideration, colour, a blissful head massage, cut and two cups of silky hot chocolate later she had absolutely exceeded my hopes for a completely new, perfectly natural and yet exciting seeming sunkissed look. I am planning to grow my hair so she cut it with exactly that in mind and still managed to make me feel brand new. The highlights seem to be woven perfectly into my hair, complementing my natural colour and yet adding that extra bit of allure.

The service was discreet and impeccable. Even though Leila and the team were finalising their preparations for a hair show the following day, she never neglected to make me feel like I as the customer was her main focus of attention. Having made use of promotional offers before, this was the first salon that understood how to turn a tentative hopeful first time client into a future loyal follower. Thank you, Leila and team, for delivering such a gratifying experience!

Not the best experience for me. I was approached by a trainee for Saco, who booked me in for a free cut as a model. I arrived at the appointed time, and was told to come back in 20 mins, as he had another cut. When I did I was asked to wait, and wait, and finally after an hour, without any apologies from any of the staff, I left the salon. I understand that trainees can sometimes take a little longer, and that's fine; what I am unhappy about is the lack of customer care. A total waste of an afternoon, and the return train fare into town.

I read the reviews and decided to try this salon. I was not disappointed! The lovely owner, Richard, gave me a complete restyle that is exactly what I wanted, even though when I first went in I didn't know what I wanted! Welcoming staff, classy atmosphere. Would highly recommend, especially if you are in need of a good stylist who also takes your facial features into consideration before they start chopping!

I had my hair cut today by Brett and I can't speak highly enough of this fantastic salon and hairdresser. It was the best head massage I have ever had and I left feeling a million dollars with the best haircut I've ever had. Well worth the money and I will never go anywhere else while I'm in London.

Ane has cut my hair wonderfully for the last 2 years. I only need to go to her every 2-3 months as the cut is so good and lasts so well. A couple of weeks ago I needed my hair cutting but couldn't get up to Saco, so went to the local Toni & Guy - that was 3 weeks ago and my hair is already in need of cutting again!

I go to Sarah Astley at Saco. She's a great stylist and cuts my hair really well. I like the relaxed atmosphere at the salon and the head massage is excellent. Try it out.

This is a quality salon which is totally let down by the new receptionist. If you can get past her, then the quality of the hairdressing is great. But after two calls where I was told that every stylist I requested was either unavailable on Saturdays, on holiday or had left (and with no suggestion of anyone else I might try, indication that people work late nights on a Thursday or anything approaching helpful), I am not inclined to go back until there is someone else on the end of the phone.

One of the worst things about moving from London was leaving Leila and Saco behind! I only discovered Saco a few months before leaving, but in that time I had two haircuts and colour done by Leila. She is wonderful - really listens and makes helpful suggestions. The colour looked great and so natural and the cuts were the best I've had. Saco has a great atmosphere with a professional, friendly staff. They put Toni & Guy-type salons to shame. Just give them a try!

I visit Leila often for a cut and sometimes colour. I have followed her from salon to salon for quite a few years as she is very talented. Saco is by far the nicest place that she has ever worked and the staff are very friendly and helpful. She always gives me a better haircut and colour than I had ever hoped for when I went in, and I can trust her to do something amazing.
